Dr. Stanislav (Stas) Kolenikov
Principal Survey Scientist, Advanced Methods Group
Dr. Kolenikov is Principal Survey Scientist in the Advanced Methods Group at Abt SRBI. His key responsibilities include sampling design, power analysis, weighting and imputation schemes. His extensive expertise in a variety of quantitative methods, ranging from structural equation modeling to small area estimation, from econometric instrumental variable regression to multiple imputation, from software development to numeric optimization methods, is a key capacity in addressing statistical and methodological challenges in the studies Abt SRBI conducts. He is active in professional societies (American Association for Public Opinion Research, the American Statistical Association) and taught continuing education courses on survey data analysis and weighting. He is a certified Professional Statistician (PStat) recognized by the American Statistical Association and Statistical Society of Canada.
Stanislav Kolenikov received his Ph.D. in Statistics from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He also holds two degrees from Russia: Master of Electronic Engineering from Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering, and Master of Science in Economics from New Economic School, Moscow.
