This group is engaged in projects that focus on customer satisfaction, rider and non-rider perceptions, branding, and amenities. Our research supports decisions related to commuter, discretionary, and long-distance passenger transport, as well as freight shipping.
Abt SRBI has in-depth experience with a range of research methods, both for long- and short-term studies. Depending on the goals of the project, we successfully use in-person, landline and cell-phone, and online data collection, and are skilled at analyzing the results for maximum utility. We have worked directly for transit agencies and providers, including the Metropolitan Transportation of New York, Chicago Transit Authority, and Amtrak, as well as with planning firms and other organizations.
